When is the last time you wore that shirt?
My name is Simon, and you’re listening to minimal 1, minimalism + simplicity

Main
If you’re trying to find a reason to wear certain clothes that you have, it’s probably time to get rid of them. It’s better to have less clothing, if what you’re left with is everything you would totally wear today.

And there’s nothing wrong with buying new clothes, but make sure you get rid of something in the process. Think of it as an upgrade to your clothing lineup.

When is the last time you went through your closet? Because if you haven’t worn something in a year, when are you realistically ever going to wear it? Just get rid of it...

As someone who cares about style, here’s a little insight that I’ve learned. The less clothes you have, you’ll be wearing them out long before they'll go out of fashion. This means you won’t have to feel bad about getting rid of perfectly good clothing. Because they won’t be perfectly good anymore, they’ll have holes in them. However, if you’re still feeling bad about parting ways with clothes that still have some life left in them, isn’t it better to donate them so that they’re in someone else’s closet who will actually wear them? This would seem like the least wasteful thing to do.
