Intro
Welcome to Minimal 1, a podcast about minimalism and simplicity. My name is Simon, and today, we’re going to figure out what all that beeping is at the intro to these podcasts. Let’s go!

Main
When I was coming up with an intro, I wanted to not only make it unique, relevant to minimalism and simplicity, but also tie it together with my personality. Something I’m a big fan of is history. We can learn so much if we study it. And although history may not always repeat itself, it often does rhyme. In the 1800’s, just as digital communication was being born, a simple communications system was invented by Samuel Morse, called Morse code. The way it worked was electrical pulses would be sent in specific patterns that would translate into dots and dashes, which represented letters and numbers. The morse code at the intro to every Minimal 1 podcast, simply translates to “minimal”. And did you notice it’s also on the logo? I know, I’m such a nerd…
