Intro
Welcome to Minimal 1, a podcast about minimalism and simplicity. My name is Simon, and today, we’ll stop using AM/PM. Let’s go!

Main
There are 24 hours in a day. Yet why do we split the day into 2 12-hour halves? Stay tuned for a deep-dive episode on this topic… But for now, let’s consider the simplicity of using the 24-hour time format over the old 12-hour format, which still persists in many places today. Rather than saying the time is 10:00 AM, or 10:00 in the morning, just say 10. Rather than saying 1:30 PM, or 1:30 in the afternoon, just say 13:30. It’s that easy, and it looks cleaner as well.

Challenge of the day
Today, I challenge you to switch your time format to 24-hour time.
