Main Do you ever feel the need to complete something you’ve started? This could come in the form of binge watching a show, scrolling through your entire social feed, and so on. I’ve discovered that I can be like this, and that makes me a completionist. This can be a very debilitating mindset, not only because of the time it takes, but because not everything is worth completing. Though it’s hard to change who you are, it is possible to channel your weaknesses into strengths. If what you’re trying to constantly complete brings you closer to a goal of yours, then being a completionist is a major advantage. For example, I’ve closed my Apple Watch fitness rings over 650 days in a row since I’ve made fitness a goal of mine.
