Welcome to Minimal 1, a podcast about minimalism and simplicity. My name is Simon, and today, we’re drinking out of metal. Let’s go!

Main
I’m a sucker for quality. It’s a good thing I’m a minimalist because I have expensive tastes. I couple years ago, I bought these very thin glass cups. I liked them because of how sleek they looked and felt. But over time, one by one, they started breaking on me. The thing is, thin glass is very fragile. Go figure… I’m now down to 2 of the original 6 cups, and I’m thinking of replacing them with stainless steel metal cups, which aren’t very expensive. There’s really no way a metal cup can break so I won’t need to baby them, and they can be easily stacked. I’ve noticed more restaurants and co-working spaces using these. It makes sense.
